The Perinthalmanna Urban Cooperative Bank was established in 1916 as  ‘Aikya Nanaya Samgham’. In 1940, it was upgraded as Urban Bank. In 1966, it came under banking Regulation Act and obtained Reserve Bank License in 1994.

In 1991, apart from Perinthalmanna Taluk, the area of operation was extended to Malappuram Municipality. Under specific conditions, loans are sanctioned all over Malappuram Dist.

Bank has completed 107 years of its glorious existence The bank has 24 branches. Head Office of Urban Bank is at Perinthalmanna. Bank has a well dedicated team of 157 staff.

Bank has about ₹1100 Crores of deposit, 765 Crores of advances and 1865 Crores of total business. Apart from the regular banking activities the bank extends its services to the social welfare projects by providing help to the families orphaned by victims of accident

The bank has became the first co-operative bank having IFS Code(Indian Financial System Code) allotted by NPCI , which enabled our customers to transfer money(both inward and outward) .We are providing RUPAY –Debit cards which can be used in any ATM  all over India .To cater more to our customers,
